For Zakłady Budowlane Kaczmarek we built a custom web application that organises the work of the team designing garden and driveway layouts based on paving stones and slabs. The manufacturer offers bespoke landscape designs around the house to customers who buy its building materials, so it needed an easy to use application that is also shared with the builders’ merchants working with ZPB Kaczmarek. The process works like this: the customer buys materials at a builders’ merchant, a member of the merchant’s staff creates an order for a bespoke garden design, and the order goes to the application administrator. The project is then assigned to a designer, who arranges a meeting with the customer. The customer, the merchant and the designer can all see the status of each project, so everyone knows where it stands, which makes communication much faster. The application is also integrated with SMSAPI and sends text message updates when key statuses change.

For ZPB Kaczmarek the application also serves as an analytics tool. It produces reports on sales and the number of designs ordered, and makes it easy to settle accounts with designers and partner merchants.
